Let's Dance Combo

Let’s Dance Combos are the perfect introduction to two dynamic dance genres – Classical Ballet and Tap – all while keeping the focus on fun!

Each class is designed to develop your child’s coordination, musicality, and balance  through engaging, age-appropriate activities set to upbeat music. Our passionate and nurturing teachers create a supportive environment where children can grow in confidence, express themselves, and build a strong foundation in dance.

Our Combo program allows students to join with peers of their school-age group, with no prior experience required. This ensures a smooth and inclusive entry into dance, regardless of background.

In each session, students enjoy dedicated time to explore both styles:

Combo One - Reception: Saturday 9:00 - 10:00am

 30 minutes of Ballet and 15 minutes of Tap.

Combo Two and Three - Year One and Two: Saturday 9:30 - 10:30am

30 minutes each of Ballet and Tap, with gradual introduction of syllabus work. Participation in exams is optional at this level, allowing students to progress at their own pace while celebrating their achievements along the way.

ISTD Modern

🌟 New Class Alert: Primary Modern (Ages 5+)  🌟

We’re excited to offer Primary Modern – a lively and imaginative introduction to Modern Theatre Dance, perfect for children around the age of five!

This fun-filled class follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus – one of the world’s leading dance examination boards. The Primary Modern level is specially designed to spark creativity and build confidence through storytelling, playful movement, and music.

Children will start to explore the foundations of Modern Dance, including posture, stance, body control, and rhythm. They'll also begin to develop performance skills, musicality, and self-expression – all in a supportive and joyful environment.

Whether your child wants to dance just for fun and fitness or work towards a recognised ISTD examination and certificate, this class is a fantastic place to start their dance journey.

Mini MUSICALS

A Magical Start for Young Stars!

Our Mini Musicals class is perfect for budding performers who love to sing, dance, and act  like their favourite characters from beloved shows and movies.

In this fun-filled class, your child will explore the world of musical theatre by learning energetic routines and catchy songs from popular musicals – all in a supportive and joyful environment.

We’re thrilled to have Chris leading the way – a talented performer with extensive stage experience who brings incredible energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to every session. Chris knows how to inspire young minds and build their confidence while making each class an exciting adventure.

Whether your little one dreams of being on stage or simply loves to perform, Mini Musicals is the perfect place to let their star shine!

Beginners Acrobatic arts

Is your little monkey always upside down?

Let them flip, tumble, and stretch their energy out in our Acrobatic Arts classes!

Join us:

🌀 Saturday mornings from 8:45–9:30am

🌀 Wednesday afternoons from 5:30–6:00pm

Taught by a fully qualified instructor, each session kicks off with a dynamic warm-up before moving into stretching, strength-building, and beginner tumbling techniques. It’s a fantastic introduction to the world of Acro, all within a supportive, encouraging environment.

Please note:

Acrobatic Arts is designed as a supplement to our core Let’s Dance Combo program. Children must be enrolled in a Combo class at KCDS to participate. This ensures a well-rounded dance education and helps students develop the versatility needed for Acro success.

This class is suitable for children aged 5 and above.

Michael Ayiotis

With over 11 years of professional experience, Michael most recently toured as Detective Sergeant Trotter in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. A dynamic, physical performer known for his comic flair and creativity, Michael is passionate about helping young actors shine on stage.

Abi Logan

Abi trained at Laine Theatre Arts and has taught musical theatre for 6 years. Her students have landed roles in top West End productions and UK tours including Matilda, Oliver, Tina: The Musical, and Les Misérables. She brings energy, technique, and industry insight to every class.
